DxCG ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH
BIOSIGNIA
April 16, 2007 - DxCG, a world premier provider of science-based
predictive modeling software and the science inside Urix business
intelligence solutions, today announced a strategic alliance with
BioSignia, a developer of evidence-based statistical models. DxCG
will become a third-party reseller of BioSignia’s Know Your
Number™ (KYN). KYN is up to 35% more accurate for chronic disease
risk prediction than conventional HRA tools and exhibits up to 20%
greater accuracy in diabetes sensitivity than the Rotterdam
Prediction Model.
KYN is the most comprehensive and advanced Health Risk Appraisal (HRA)
tool designed to promote chronic disease awareness and proactive
intervention. Health risk assessment data is becoming widely used
among physicians and healthcare professionals to identify clinical
risk factors, monitor behavioral changes, and help fill the gap in
the early detection of chronic intervention.
Unlike traditional health risk assessment tools, KYN was developed
by BioSignia to address the needs of increasingly diverse
populations. It empowers healthcare providers with clinically
sound, actionable information that may be used to track
participants’ progress and demonstrate the initiative’s success.
In addition, KYN delivers visually compelling, easy to interpret
outputs that significantly contribute to motivate participants and
strengthen their commitment to intervention programs.
“The addition of Know Your Number to our growing portfolio of
solutions is a perfect fit with our goal to provide customers with
the most advanced, science-based predictions in the industry,”
said, Mike Coyne, chief operating officer of DxCG. “HRA data is an
important factor when predicting overall population risk when
claims data are not available,” added Coyne. “As more customers
look into adding HRA data into their analysis, we want to make
sure they have a tool with the best prediction accuracy
available.”
“Naturally we are excited to accelerate market penetration through
our partnership with the leading global health risk prediction
company,” said Tim Smith, CEO of BioSignia. “This strategic
alliance of two leading science based health risk prediction
companies enables healthcare payors, providers and employers to
make the best clinically based healthcare decisions,” added Smith.
